KTZ

KTZ. Kokon to Zai is a collaboration between Koji Maruyama, Sasko Bezovski and Marjan Pejoski. KTZ have produced a number of clothing items across the past several years. In my opinion I think the fashion which they have created has been influenced on a social factor, by taking ideas or images from high street individual style. All three designers have give there own style towards the final product of a item clothing.
A number of the inspired by satan, this includes, sweatshirts with satanic symbols and over sized bomber jackets with death imprinted down the sleeve. A piece of clothing which stood out most to me was a large jersey T-shirt with a picture of a zombie on the front, and on the back is the number 13 with satan above the number. The t-shirt is inspired to look like a football top, which states at the back that the number of the player is 13 and their name is satan, although the number 13 is unlucky. Most of the effects on the clothing is either digital print or applique. The religious references they have used is  satanic imagery, this includes symbols such as the goats head with horns and repeated number “666”.
The design of prints have been given a set way to go, for example the pictures of the Jersey, this t-shirt has been given a format of layout of digital printing. It has been created with the influential imagery of a Football jersey.
In my opinion the edgy street wear fashion is a pleasing style of clothing. I would wear this fashion as it is quirky and different. I think the design on the clothing items could be a inspiration for me for my own work as it is has a different style to the original style which is seen on the high street, it is more individual.
